46:: changing generational perspectives on faith and the female body! (aka:: your body is beautiful & deserves your time, effort, & energy)
Another unique episode this week all about our female bodies, faith, perceptions we have on our bodies, and why we shouldn't feel ashamed of wanting to take time to take care of our physical bodies! This week, I'm sharing the audio from a talk I did over the weekend for a women's retreat called Soul Care. It was an absolute honor, and it was so fulfilling knowing that a room filled with women were gathered together to learn the link between faith and their physical bodies...which is typically something that women push down on their list of priorities. In this episode, we challenge perceptions and flip the narrative to::
- our bodies are special and deserve our time, effort, and energy
- the way we interact with the world, share, and experience God's love revolves heavily around our physical bodies
- taking care of our physical bodies shows our sisters, friends, daughters, nieces, granddaughters, etc. how important it is to take care of our bodies
- Bible verses associated with the gift of our human bodies!
Listen in, and let me know what you think! Grab your journals and let's make it reflective, proactive, and interactive.
